Celestial look book for Archive 12

On Wednesday 8th March, which just so happened to be International Women's Day, I got together with an amazing group of talented ladies and one lucky man, who was given the "honorary" woman title *giggles* to showcase Archive 12's beautiful bridal collections.

Claire the founder and owner of Archive 12 put together a beautiful shoot to capture her stunning unique range of bride and bridesmaid dresses and head pieces.

Kat Mervyn and her beautiful little daughter Juno (who may I say is a complete dote and stole the show with her cuteness) captured the collection with her creative photography skills and as always totally blew me away with her vision and ability to capture detail and light. Carl our "honorary" woman for the day runs his own cinematography business called Ball and Wolf. Not only was he an absolute delight to be around but his filming was stunning. I am super excited to see the end results from this shoot.

I got to work alongside hair & makeup artist Maria Gorman, I created the hair for the shoot and she did the makeup and I think you will agree when you see the final images that she totally rocked it! Maria's amazing at what she does and at only 22 she is one to watch out for. Claire chose the perfect model from IAM Models Agency, the beautiful Kamile. She was such a natural and great to work with. It really was a great day shooting.

my haven for your hair

As you'll all know by now little old me is finally opening up on my own. I have wanted to create a wee studio of loveliness for sometime now and took the plunge. It is in Portview Mill and my studio is situated on the first floor in a114.  I wanted to create a wee haven for you and your hair. Hopefully my vision will come together and you will all love it as much as I do. After years of trying and testing different products and ranges I have come across two brands that I totally love and they are Maria Nila and Davines. Both companies are Vegan and Vegan friendly and are free from sulphate and paraben. Their packaging is carbon neutral and I just want to try to help the environment as much as possible. I'll be using the Davines colour range which is also vegan friendly and made from naturally sourced ingredients. My studio will not only be there for my clients and brides, but it'll be my office too which is great as I can then move all my work out of my home and have the two separate.

For my bridal section I'm aiming to create a more personal atmosphere. Bridal appointments will only have my brides and their chosen bridal team present. This way we can talk all things your wedding and we won't get disturbed by anyone. It will be our own wee wedding hair haven.

I will be taking my first client on Thursday 9th March and my studio will be officially open from this date. EEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I may be the most excited person in the whole universe these days! I may also be the first lady ever to combust from excitement, so if that does happen, please just follow my little dream on and keep my wee studio life alive hehehehe.

To all my peeps, I love you and I cannot wait for you all to see my wee vision that is ....

See you all soon. eek! keep loving and always smiling. Let's make the world a better place one smile at a time :) xo

tori & sean's beautiful belfast wedding

Okay people, I have already shared Tori and Sean's wedding day trailer, but this is their whole wedding day film. It has been beautifully captured by two of my favourite people, cinematographers Matt and Abby, the creative duo behind http://www.forever-social.co.uk/ If you haven't already booked yourself someone to capture your wedding day, well these guys are for you. Seriously, not only are they totally lovely people, but they will knock your socks off with their crazy talents. Book them!!!!

Creating Tori's hair for her wedding day was such a privilege. From our first meeting in Clements with her mummy we got on. She just has such a beautiful soul. Tori's bridal choices were all people and designers I love. Lizzie Agnew made her wedding gown and I think you'll agree how stunning it was. Sandra from Blue Meadow Bridal designed her headpiece and bridesmaids hairpieces too. All beautifully handmade with the finest pearls and gems.

Tori and Sean also had photographer http://www.laurajcurran.com/  capture all their wedding day moments and if you check her out you will see how amazingly talented she is too. Laura is warm and friendly and I would recommend her to any couple getting married.

jump the broom

I married my best friend on Friday 25th November 2011 in the Ulster Museum in Belfast. My long time friend and photographer Emma Campbell captured our big day. She was an absolute star! Professional, funny, warm and all my guests loved her. I highly recommend Emma for your wedding day too. She captures moments beautifully.  Check out Jump the Broom and you'll even see me and my hubby featured.
